Childcare Solicitor, 2+ PQE – East Midlands - £DOE – This established Legal 500 law firm is looking to strengthen its Childcare team through the appointment of an ambitious and motivated Childcare Solicitor. THE ROLE:
You will take ownership of your own varied caseload of childcare matters, providing clear, practical advice and support to parents, grandparents, and wider family members during often complex and sensitive circumstances. Your work will span a broad range of public and private children law matters, including child arrangement orders, special guardianship orders, care orders, emergency protection orders, interim care orders, and pre-proceedings meetings. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise, take on meaningful responsibility and make a real difference to the lives of children and families.
THE CANDIDATE:
The ideal Childcare Solicitor will have a minimum of 2 years’ PQE, with Children Panel Accreditation and demonstrable technical expertise across all aspects of childcare law. The ability to undertake your own advocacy would be highly advantageous. You will join an experienced and knowledgeable team, where collaboration, professional development and exceptional client care are at the heart of the practice. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential, alongside a genuine commitment to supporting clients through sensitive and challenging circumstances.
